I really need topic ideas for college essays. I would like to have at least two good topics so my professor could approve one and give his feedback.

The choice of the topic is affected by your discipline. If you are writing for English Literature course, apparently you should not choose the topic related to Biology, for example. The best strategy is to use your textbook as the source of information. Look through your book and choose the chapters you liked the most. After look through the chapters and choose the subjects you enjoyed reading about.
